Beach Volleyball goes sustainable as green businesses join the top players in the world and their celebrity guests on the beach.

"We have always focused on introducing people to sustainable products and practices" says event founder Jason Olive. "Over the last 5 years we have introduced participants to companies like Natural High, Lizard Lips, Sambazon, Guyaki and Gaiam. It has just grown to the point where people expect it of us.
With the help of Whole Foods Markets we are going to create an entire Eco Village on the sand. It will be really exciting to turn the kids as well as adults on to all the great products.
The setting could not be more beautiful. We have always had an Hawaiian theme to our event. Hawaiians have lived 'sustainably' for thousands of years so it is all a perfect fit.
As a former athlete in Hawaii and now as a fan, I know what its like to be at a sports event and not be able to find anything healthy to eat or purchase. It's really ironic if you think about it. But the 'green' markets are growing and the public is certainly rewarding eco-conscious companies by being disciplined about where they spend their dollar. The companies with an eye to the future are doing what they can. The companies with an eye to the future are joining us on the beach to volley for a cause."
